This may be partly my fault, I am the person who posted pictures on FB. My gf and I started seeing each other in January. Her ex boyfriend was abusive. We had what I thought was an amazing relationship. We both use FB, me much more than her. I did not know why, until I started hearing all the stories about how controlling her ex was, demanding her cell phone call records, and trying to hack into her email and FB accounts. We had wonderful dinners at expensive places in town, and I posted photos of us during these dinners. Nothing shocking in the slightest. A few days later, I decided to make a photo album, and not knowing that ‘Tagging’ meant the photos would appear on her wall. A few days later, she called me, furious that I had posted photos of us on her wall. When I explained I posted them on my account and not hers, she told me to look at her wall, and there they were. I asked her why it was a problem, was she ashamed of us? She replied that she didn’t want her ex husband to know she had a bf, even though they have been separated for 7 years! In the end it turned out she wanted to get back with her ex, and he would be angry seeing the photos. A huge mess and I feel like an idiot, that I got involved with the wrong woman, but she says its my fault. She has now gone back to him……….Live and learn.
